Plain Couscous recipe

I got this recipe from Tipiak Couscous package. I'm posting it here because it worked great every time!


250 ml of water + 250 g of Couscous = 3 1/2 persons ;-)

1) In a casserole pot or in a frying pan, boil 250 ml of water with salt, adding a coffee spoon of oil for each person.
2) Out of the heat, add 250 g of Couscous grain, stirring gently and letting it rest for 4 minutes.
Add a little butter, and let it cook at very low heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring regularly with a fork.

Modo de emprego (3-4 pessoas)

1) Numa caçarola de saltear ou numa frigideira, levar a ferver 250 ml de água com sal, com uma colher de café de óleo por pessoa.
2) Fora do lume, deitar 250 g de grãos de Cuscuz, mexendo delicadamente e deixar repousar durante 4 minutos.
Acrescentar um pouco de manteiga e cozer a lume muito brando durante 3 a 4 minutos, mexendo regularmente com um garfo.
